There is a reason it’s called the Holy Land.

Sometimes, vacations can be too good. This might have been one of those instances. I have just returned back from traversing a solid 1000 miles through the northern golan heights, down to the negev desert, from the coasts of the mediterranean sea to the ancient city of Petra in the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan. A whirlwind of beautiful weather, wonderful food, rich history, hospitable people, religious pilgrimage in a dynamic reason with a bunch of good people is the recipe for long lasting memories that make life worth living. I will be chronicling the trip in the next week or two in parts and pictures as I get back to the grind of snow, mud, and cold that is unfortunately Moldova for the time being.

I hope you have all been well. Until then, keep floating on.
